Well, after reading this post, I feel much better for this trade. I heard on the radio that Les was willing to spend more money if we can get Howard, which would be cool.

 

the valid argument is...he called it exactly like it was SUPPOSED TO GO DOWN!!!!

it fell through because of Thomas Robinson unpredictably falling. Called the names we were going after ... he did a great job actually...if you go back and look at what he said we would offer ( or what we decoded)

Not to sound like a smartass here, I say this with all due respect LabMouse, but if you were Les, and knew that it was just a matter of time til we got a top 5 player (#1 center) in the league, wouldn't you spend more too, even if you were the most conservative person in the world, when it come to spending money on your team?

Although I did not hear the radio interview with Les, I too read this same article the one you commented on, and it made me feel better and I took a big sigh of relief.

With that being said, maybe it wasn't so much the players that played with Dwight Howard in Orlando, but the organization itself that he didn't like, hence not wanting to patch things up in Orlando? Just a thought... (I also do realize that Howard was also waiting for a star or two to join him in Orlando, but it never came, and I guess he grew impatient with the Orlando Magic...)

 

If you've said it 16 times in 16 different ways, then I think it's time to just stop. If people want to panic and make assumptions, then let them. What are you accomplishing? You are as bad as the people you are complaining about.
