I think the word to describe my feeling if the Rockets do not get Dwight

    Exhilarated

Should the Rockets get Dwight Howard-Yes if they can

Considering the circumstances- Yes, if the end deal makes sense

If they dont get Dwight- Its a chance for Morey to wipe the slate completely clean and start rebuilding from scratch. Would love to see what he could do in 2 or 3 years of building through the draft, and see young guns develop in front of our eyes.

That being said, if they get Dwight... its probably for the best. I understand the circumstances enough to know that there is a very good chance he re-signs with the Rockets. Thats a argument right there, but one I believe pretty strongly right now that at the end of the day MONEY MATTERS, and he will re-sign with Houston.

That would be the WORST trade in the history of ball.

    & that's even IF that fool would re-sign - which he won't.

    TRADE FAIL

Now that quote sounds a lot more promising. Hopefully the "process" involves the Lin/Asik offer sheets and potentially Scola amnesty.

It doesn't matter where the picks were, we are already well into our rebuild. I'm talking two years from now, instead of waiting two years after Dwight leaves to start all over again.

Rebuild/Tank whatever you want to call it. We already got a good core of young guys with potential, one is bound to have a breakout year. And good luck rebuilding with no draft picks. Btw, you seem a little upset. Cheer up.

Flat out that would be the dumbest move since the FAILED 95 trade.

Yeah, they are pretty absurd. I took the day off to watch our summer league game today so I've been watching all of it. Michael Smith is the only person all day that didn't laugh at the idea of Houston even trying to get better. Every single talking head on the network treats us like a joke. To everyone on this board, ESPN is a joke they are never right. I don't even believe sportcenter has the right final scores anymore. The fact that they are reporting us in the running at all increases Atlanta's chances exponentially. Trust that Morey will not sacrifice his ability to put talent around Howard. If he screws up, at least the Texans are good.

I may not agree with the last part because I do not think Howard will extend with us unless we can sign another superstar like Chris Paul, but I think it's great that you can lay out your opinion in a respectful manner. The most frustrating thing on this board is the asswipes that can't have a legitimate debate without name calling or smartass remarks. Go rockets!

Good this is the first domino that needed to fall... Next, Lin and Asik offers are signed. Then, Knicks and Bulls match (Knicks for sure, Bulls not so sure). Then the D12 fallout!!! Then, Lee is retained.

Let's be patient and wait people. Doc Rocket and some of the veteran posters are right, let's just wait and see befor freaking out...

Doc coming strong...as always. Don't let these ritalin-deprived posters get you worked up. The entire country's attention-span has been steadily shrinking since the late 70's :)
