I've read this posted multiple times.Can anyone explain where this rumor originated ? I have been unable to find anything about this and highly doubt the validity,so please provide me with some info ?
I heard from a random source on a Romanian blog that D Howard hates Atlanta and all things Georgia though this random source does live in a US territory- Puerto Rico. Wait, maybe they meant the country? Either way, seems legit.
It was you believ anything you read. Dwight is from Atlanta. PeoPle just start making up things like they personally know the guy.
I remember a tweet from some NBA writer that said "Dwight has shown no interest in returning to Atlanta since he entered the NBA straight out of high school." People probably somehow took that as "Dwight hates Atlanta."
Yeah I think he is. Don't know why he would hate Atlanta especially when one of his best friends, Josh Smith, is there.
People know Howard is from Atlanta, but he has never expressed an interest in returning. Doesn't mean he hates it, but he clearly doesn't love his hometown. Really, there is no telling what is going through his mind.
Just cause he doesn't play for his hometown doesnt mean he hates it. He doesn't express interest in playing for us either. We already know who he wants to play for so of course he will not show interest to other teams.
I remember reading some things, such as he has never spent any appreciable amount of time there in the off season since he was drafted. I think really the point is that he doesn't seem to have a special home town attachment to the place. I think that has turned into "Howard Hates Atlanta" as a simplification.

Players always hate to lose when they return home ... I've heard pro's 100's of times talk about how much it means to shine in front of their hometown crowd.
I do considering atl . may be a team that makes a play for howard next year ... If you don't then gtfo outta the thread
