Probably just a fan post and not legit, but this is probably a more accurate trade scenario. The ESPN post is referring to every asset that is being discussed in the deal based on whats being floated through agents, etc. The deal would have been done already if Orlando could have everything. Its called a negotiation. There should be no reason why Houston could give next to nothing in terms of players, and picks, and not still have the best offer on the market strickly because of their ability to absorb all or most of their bad contracts. Keep that in mind before you jump to conclusions.
I actually doubt this trade because it leaves no veteran PFs on the team. I can't imagine that we are going to guarantee starting either Donuts or White at the 4.
I would imagine follow-up trades with other teams could resolve this issue. Either way, i'd prefer to obtain Glen Davis than Hedo (if possible)
YES IT DOES! I can't wait to see who are Robin will be to our Batman. I would love to go into the 2014 season having our own big 3 of Dwight Howard, Chris Paul, and Josh Smith! Pipe Dream I know, but Keep Hope Alive! Could you imagine Paul Lee Parsons Smith Howard Bring on the Thunder and Heat the Rockets are ready for you! Plus veterans would be coming in drones on the cheap to chase rings just like in Miami.
I am not saying this is legit in any way, but a trade like this is completely feasible. Houston does not need to give up everyone on the roster to get Dwight. Remember we are doing Orlando a huge favor by taking on their bad contracts. Therefore we will still get to keep some of our young guys.
There will be more deals... give or take believe it or not. That would be a top 4 team. If the trade happens and no injuries happen. We will be good. Nothing is set in stone. But the team is on track towards being in contention again.
Line up would look like : Lin / Duhon Richarson / Lamb Parson / White Donuts / ????? Howard / Smith sounds good to me.
Nobody has asked this yet but is there any other trades be has broke in the last to be able to call legit?
That's the point though. You can't give them the players that you don't want, because they most likely won't want them either.
You think the Magic didnt see Marcus Morris crack the rotation, and Lamb having potential. Of course we want Lamb but im sure they do too. Because they see the same thing we have to be realistic
