Only thing that concerns me is taking back all those contracts. If it was only Jrich and Duhon, then I am all for the trade.

It be tough to see Parsons go, but we are really trading away Kmart, PPat, Parsons, the 12th, 16th, and 18th, and some future 1st round draft picks for the 2nd or 3rd best player in the league.

A few weeks ago, a lot of us were willing to trade two ten picks, if somehow Morey managed to get them, but now we are crying over the 12th, 16th, and 18th picks?

I still dont see Morey taking on all those contracts........

He was #7 the year before. His 19.33 PER would have put him at #12 this year.

No idea where Marbury is--still in China perhaps? As for Brooks, he could be an option. I foresee a scenario where he asks for more money than we'd like to give him.

Comparitively, the package we're giving is way, way better than the Nets package of Kris Humphries, Lopez, and three first round picks which after the trade would undoubtedly be late round picks. All three of our picks are early/mid round picks. Not sure why the Rockets would make such a move if Dwight has vocalized that he wont stay beyond this season if traded to Houston.

    Damn

I would hate to be in Morey's shoe right now.

    Can't win either way.

Casual fans dont see all these.

No doubt you would become a Magic fan since that seems to be the team we will be inheriting lol.

For what its worth DH #6 in PER behind Love, Durant, Lebron, Wade, and Paul.

He is however, far and away the best C in the game by a wide margin.

At some point Morey has to say that enough is enough, put in a reasonable offer and tell the Magic GM take it or leave it and live with whatever the result is. I seriously don't think fitting the whole team is the right thing to do.

That's the thing. He can't give a rat's ass about what anyone thinks. I like the aggressive attitude. I'd rather him bet his job on a move then sit there and make lateral moves the rest of his career to keep our head above water at 40 wins every year.

If this move comes back to bite him in the ass, then so be it. He'll probably get fired and everyone moves on, even if our rebuilding takes a step back. High risk/high reward is what I say in this case. Can't be scared to pull the trigger forever.

I agree. 100%. For the record, I'm not saying Brooke Lopez is any good, but he is considered a top center in the league and that's because most centers in today's NBA suck.

This is a business. Courting a girl is personal. Don't mix the two.
