    STERNNNNNNNN

    and you are so true

Draft-Night was way too freaky to be believable

The Bobcats for the longest had the most intrest in Thomas Robinson, and then out of nowhere they draft MKG( STERNNNNNNN)

and you would be crying if some other team outleaped us to get Dwight with a better package.

3 bad contracts? no problems. they will lose games like there is no tomorrow. that's all I care about. When you are rebuilding all you care about is getting top picks. Even if you had tonnes of caproom you would never use it because then your team will just become too good if you sign any big FAs with that money.

what do you mean "the future of that team"?

you do realize that we get to make draft picks and are allowed to sign free agents and make trades in the future, don't you?

the franchise doesn't end if this trade blows up in our faces.

You say that you dont want to be stuck in mediocrity but being the houston magic will do that to us. We should atleast be left with a couple of assets or else these past 2 years have been a waste

I love our 2012 picks as much as anybody but lets say the deal was

Martin, Parsons, Morris, Picks 12, 16, 18 and future considerations for Dwight Howard + fillers. It sounds much better for us.

Why??? Because everyone is proclaiming Lamb, White and Jones to be superstars before they've even played a single minute in the league.

We are the ONLY team dealing with Orlando and we are offering all this?

Who will you be trading exactly if you take back Orlando's bad contracts?

Who will you be signing as well?

    This doesn't compute.

    1) Because of salary situation as described by Carl Herrera

    2) The team isn't good enough to contend and can't add players to get into contention

    3) We need to be a very good team to convince Howard to stay and this leaves us bare

    4) I can't imagine any other team offering something even a fraction as attractive. To get Howard we just have to beat every other offer by $1, not by a factor of 5

I think this would be a great trade if we could somehow keep Chandler Parsons... anyway we can do that would be amazing. Dwight, Chandler Parsons, D-Mo, possibly Asik + some luck...

If the rockets give up Jeremy lamb, chandler parsons and rocye white or donatas I will not be a fan anymore, because it's a horrible trade and I love all those players more than I love the thought of Dwight being on the rockets, so that being said if those players go my love for the rockets go along with it

One thing to note is that the proposed offer makes no sense in terms of the trade market.

List of offers that have been discussed already and their ranking from Orlando's POV.

    1. OKC with Harden and Ibaka - doesn't work under the cap, nor would OKC even consider it
    2. Lakers for Bynum among other things - If Orlando had this deal as well as Bynum's blessing, it would already be done. So obviously no go
    .
    .
    .
    3. Rockets deal centered around Toronto's lottery pick, some other youngster, AND being able to take on most of Orlando's salaries
    .
    .
    .
    .
Everyone else who don't want to risk the rental.

The key point isn't whether Howard is worth all that stuff, but rather why we have to give up so much more than other teams' bids? If the Rockets are bidding against themselves over and over for the past weeks, then Morey should have his MIT degree nullified.

What does it matter? Rockets will suck for the next decade anyway.

You left Lowry out of the deal. Also, making that deal pre draft opens up a lot more possibilities such as resigning Dragic etc.
