It would be fun to see D12 and Motiejunas in the same front court.

Houston GM Morey has included himself in the trade.

No just no. We either give them cap relief or young potential or a little of both no ****ing way do we let them have everything. They can't get what we give them from anyone else no way should they be twisting our arm.

It would surely be awkward for the summer league team if the supposed deal is consummated.

He can leave. I'm totally willing to accept him leaving as a consequence of the deal. As of right now we are stuck in the treadmill of mediocrity. Who said Dwight had to stay long term? He stays, GREAT! He leaves, GREAT!! we rebuild!!!

Don't forget the amnesty we had to use on Scola...

Remember, the Magic were only sixth in the weaker East last season and that was with a better team than what we'd be left with here...I'm not sure we'd even make the playoffs with that decimated roster. There comes a point where it's just not worth it, and I'm sorry but this is it.

Why can't we just say screw this and rebuild?!?! The way the Magic are planning to with all OUR young assets and cap space we're gifting them!

I do think Morey is aware of it and that's why I think he doesn't give all of that up. The proposed trade is just ridiculous. The Magic don't need 4 young PFs when they already have two of their own. I think Morey has a planned outlined to make us more than the Orlando Magic but that trade likely won't allow it to happen.

As far as us being terrible, we won't be that much more terrible next year than we would be this year. If we roll our current roster out there we are a bottom five team for sure. Shaun Livingston is probably the player with the most NBA experience on our team. I'm all for getting Howard but not at this cost when we can just play our guys and get a top 5 pick next year in a draft with 3 players that have all star potential. Not to mention that we keep our young guys with the chance that one of them turns into an all star caliber talent.

We are also trading our PA Announcer John Paul Stevenson to Orlando, because "sources" say that the Orlando fans would like it if there was variety in the PA announcing and the Orlando GM is giving them what they want.

    :(

BUT in exchange of ALL THAT that Orlando is getting from us, "sources" say that we are getting Walt Disney World from them! :)

Even if it was all those players why would you be opposed? We're hyping our own picks again because they're our picks and CFANS has a tendency to overrate their own players. I love our picks and think we did well with 12, 16 and 18 BUT....

No matter how you shake it or how special you think Lamb, White or Jones are going to be it doesn't change the fact that they were picked 12, 16 and 18. Once again I'm not saying they can't turn out to be special but the way some members of this board are talking it makes it sound like they were picked 2, 6 and 8 and they're going to be surefire studs.

I call BS on this "report". There's no way Morey would be dumb enough to take on all those contracts and give up all of that potential for a one year rental of dwight coming off a freaking back injury.
