I wonder what Orlando wants to do with some of these guys: The rookie have value/upside, I get it. But then what about Patterson or even Parsons, who are projected to be future role players. The article made it sound like Morris, Parsons and Patterson are just "contract balance" throw ins rather than the main pieces of value.

Also, does Orlando really get value from having all these PFs on their squad, in addition to their own draftee Nicholson? If these guys don't get minutes soon, their value in the market tends to drop.

Anyhow, wouldn't shock me, (though would make me kind of sad) for Houston to give up the whole farm with all of the farm animals, but perhaps the reports just threw out all of the possibly available players and the deal is for Orlando to take a certain number of them.

As far as the "bad contracts" go: the report says it's among the 4 guys mentioned. So it's probably not all 4 of them. If we have to take 3, my preference would be to keep Hedo out of it-- which would allow HOU to bring in immediate reinforcement and leave them a little more flexible next summer as well.

I used profanities to make the point that we are giving up too much for dwight becaue we lose all of our pieces inexchange for bad contracts that will limit our moves to surround dwight with the team he needs to convincehim to stay. What makes you think that dwight will stay knowing ha hes playing with the same team again but with just different uniforms?
