[ESPN] Sources: New trade offer in works (for Dwight Howard)

Well if Dwight bolts then we'll just completely all-out tank. Even Les would be powerless to stop the flood of losing games by then.

And it doesn't really matter how we do in the first 20 games or so. As long as we get into the playoffs, anything can happen. They say the regular season only exists for the playoffs and that couldn't be more true, especially for superstars like DH12.

Again, the veterans will come for the vet min when we acquire Dwight and as a major bonus they will have significant roles to play due to our lack of depths after any Dwight trade.

I dunno about you, I'd much, much rather have Dwight than another year towards the 14th pick watching a bunch of "assets" that I know will leave in 3 years time.

I hate the idea of Hedo starting on our team... I'm seriously hoping he's not part of this trade... Also!! why would they want so many players at the same freaking positions...

This is just speculation from someone at ESPN with nothing better to do than create white noise. Everyone knows someone from those players will be included.

I personally don't think Morey has to go to extremes because all serious bidders are off the table (LA, NJ, no MIA/DALLAS/SA/THUNDER due to cap reasons) so we can push back! hopefully Morey will react the same way we are and push back. Orlando is DESPERATE to rid itself of Dwight because he is a cancer to the team and basically is pouting his way out of the city.

Hers's an idea: why don't we all tweet morey and let him know that that trade package is not welcome.

I don't think anybody would be opposed to trading the three rookies, Toronto pick, knicks pick, dallas pick and Martin but that is not the deal mentioned in this article. We are trading our entire roster besides DMo in the deal Stein mentioned.

 

Mostly everything that comes out now is rumor and speculation.

Many of us are saying "If" this goes down.

I believe that Morey is not this foolish to deal away the entire team like this.

Yeah it's cool if Dwight were coming over with a extension...but he's not and therefore Orlando should accept less.

They can't have everything and we can't mortgage our future because if Dwight were to leave the Rockets will become the Knicks. Stuck with bad contracts and no draft picks and even worse will not be able to randomly attract a superstar player because they play in New York.
