How many more finals appearances to Wade, Kobe, and Lebron have together when they had no other star on the team?

Truth. However, I still have a hard time believing we're giving up THIS much.

If this trade happens as constituted, Dwight will be in a worse situation than he was in Orlando.

    He will leave.

Our franchise will be set back a good 5-7 years by this move. Not only will Morey get fired, he'll be lucky to get a job as a high school AD.

Okay, F this, I need to sleep.

I just have to hope that we arent going to trade all of this talent.

I wanted to keep at least Lamb or White...and definitely wanted to keep Parsons.

This has been the most draining NBA experience ever.

Good night fellas, need my rest for a crazy day of Dwightmare tomorrow.

Who are you going to surround with Dwight?

Realize that he may be out for the first 15-20 games...during that period the Rockets could win 7 games if lucky. They'll be playing catch up when Dwight comes back if you trade the entire team...and then we'll have a low seed and Dwight may actually have a reason for fleeing a garbage team.

There is a line that must be drawn.

Giving away every single of player of worth (outside of D-Mo) is a terrible idea for a guy that is not going to make a commitment to the team.

Once again. There is not "submitted offer" it's speculation from people that dont even know our assets.

Yes... we were willing to do it JUST for that and a few other "minor" pieces (Morris, Livingston, Brockman)

BUT... Not for the GM of Orlando wanting the moon... Does he also want Splashtown? Perhaps the Kemah Boardwalk as well?

You really can't compare the two. If we make this deal before the draft we likely bring back Dragic and keep our rights to Lee. Dragic/Lee/Hedo/DMo/Howard is a solid starting five. With a lot of free agents being snatched up and trades having already been made Morey has a lot less flexibility.

Why can't they just give them torontos pick, Dallas pick and two future first rounders with Martin, Morris, Patterson and all those nonguaranteed contracts

    i don't see this happening.

it doesn't make any sense for the rockets to take on that much in bad contracts. the whole genius of this was if dwight howard left us next year, we would be bad enough to come back to where we are right now and draft young talent. that's why there was no risk involved.

but now if you take on the burden of those contracts, you are stuck in a bad bad place for many more years with no rookies left to grow the team. this would be a dumb move.
