Is it a Jazz troll? Don't look into it eyes, you'll see that picture of Kyle Korver with the two r****ded Jazz fans and fall into a coma.

I'm sorry all this CP3 dream-casting is bordering on the pathetic. I hope folks are not pinning their hopes to that.

This Dwight trade will have to stand on its own merits. Nothing else is a given.

Of course, but the type of flexibility that the Rockets have remaining after a Dwight trade is still a key issue to how favorable the trade is. It is important to keep enough room for a max level player-- whether Chris Paul or someone -- and enough assets to deal for one if need be in order to both keep Howard and, more important, build a contender. Remember, the point of getting Dwight Howard is to help win a title, not just to have his name in promotional materials.

I get that, but all this dream casting about other players is annoying. We don't even have Howard yet.

Yeah. But Orlando would still be stuck with a bunch of bloated contracts, and OKC cant absorb them.

Only thing is that both Ibaka and Harden are going to be free agents next year! I think that trade might also be hard to work out capwise...OKC would definitely not want to take back the sort of contracts that Houston is willing to!

Exactly. Also, Harden and Ibaka will both be looking for new extensions next year. It is better for them to blow it up, get some good picks, and see if they can draw in a Harden or Ibaka through FA.

    Uuumm

    Howard makes 19M

Harden makes 5.8M and Ibaka 2.2M

Not even close to doable under the CBA. Thunder would have to throw in either more players or have some cap space to make up the rest of it.

    Kendrick Perkins

This was the only scenario that has worried me lately.

I don't see how we can take back all of those bad contracts unless we're able to sign and trade Courtney Lee, or something along those lines. To take back Duhon and Richardson, we'd be giving up practically every player on our roster. We don't have any large salaries besides Kevin Martin. Go play with NBA Trade Machine and see for yourself. I'm thinking we'll end up trading Kevin Martin, draft picks, and fillers for Dwight Howard and Chris Duhon. I don't see us taking back all of the bad contracts. Maybe one or two at most.

Larry Coon, Lakers insider, has said that there has been a winner...and its not the Lakers. Story to go up soon.

Looks to me that the Rockets have won the big prize.
