I think that if Zimmerman hadn't decided to play cowboy cop, the media would never have had a chance to portray it, whether fairly or unfairly.

Remember, when coverage broke everyone was blasting the same manipulated 911 recording. The recording was obviously altered to insinuate that GZ was racist, and that this was a racially motivated crime (more interesting = more ratings).
Objection, relevance. He decided to pack his weapon and play Miami Vice by following the kid around. It was apparently obvious enough of a tail to cause the kid to feel an altercation was necessary. If cowboy Zim had not done that, and had just given the information to the real cops, there would have been no altercation to escalate to a killing. Stand your ground was never intended to protect people who go looking for trouble.

Oh please. You have failed to state one single fact in this entire thread. You have posted nothing but innuendo, irrelevant information, hypotheticals and drivel.
A few facts: Trayvon had mar1juana in his blood stream and reports indicated that GZ had a broken nose. Media unfairly portrayed Trayvon as a perfect child and GZ as a murderer.
Why do you guys keeping posting the fact that Martin had mar1juana in his system? Last i checked, that is not an illegal offense just like everybody who keeps referring to that states it was not illegal for Zimmerman to follow. For the 117th time, you cannot have it both ways.
It is certainly fairly compelling circumstantial evidence that he was at some point in violation of the law prohibiting the actual or constructive possession of cannabis 893.13(6)(b). It is possible that someone tricked him into ingesting it or forced him to take it against his will, but that seems very unlikely. In contrast, Zimmerman following Martin does not tend to prove his guilt of any crime.
