and I agree Unless there is something going on in Clipperland I havent heard about, it seems silly to expect Paul to leave the larger extension and teammates he has to possibly play with Howard if Houston can retain him.
Maybe CP3 won't want to leave the money on the table. But the fact will be, he can join Howard here, but Howard can't join him in LA (or join any other superstar who isn't over the hill anywhere).
I knew this was coming, but I'm still really sad to hear it. Luis was not really that overpaid in the grand scheme of things. A victim of circumstance. I'll miss the guy but I guess it's another move that either tanks the team or brings up back to the playoffs, and either way is okay. Best of luck to Luis with the rest of his career, it's been great having him as a Rocket.

true that is Going by what math I have seen already on possible variations of the Howard deal, the Rockets will have a large amount of cap space next year no matter what variation occurs. If there is anyone out there that makes up to the max, the Rockets would have room for them. Cant say that about a lot of teams.
