    If the Rockets take on a combination of Hedo, Richardson. Duhon, or Big Baby, will they be able to buy out any of them?

    a question I have been wondering also.

    He just got there, why would he want to leave already?

    I think folks are just assuming Sterling is gonna screw it up like he normally does.


    They can buy out anyone they want, the salaries still count on the books.

    honestly, not sure. but this is the section of the CBA that deals with the stretch provision, so maybe we can figure it out.

    not really, those are two different arguments.

    the argument being made around here is mainly that he wouldn't leave the larger amount of money he would get by signing a max deal with the team that owns his bird rights. He gets larger raises and an additional year if he signs with Houston in the case they get him.
