its a shame that so many fans dn't understand this. People ask why get DH if he's not staying, but then don't want to trade all the B grade players we have. That's a huge reason why he won't stay. We have to go after CP3.

THIS IS WHY YOU GET DWIGHT HOWARD. CP3 is actually somebody we can even CONSIDER now.

Well we're gonna get Bynum or Dwight for sure, the only question is are we going too all-in if we don't get the latter and have to settle on the former?

Contract...no one is going to pay for a 32 yo PF...who is an defensive liablity...besides the league is saturated with Forwards and guards...no true centers anymore

I think you maybe right about that. Morey must have a plan up his sleeve because I can't imagine Les being ok paying Scola's salary while Howard has bolted.

If someone isn't coming in, there is no way we can get to the minimum cap figure without Scola's contract.

    Something is cooking.

Only difference is in Houston we will not be depending on them to start like the Magic (except for Duhon) did.

I still don't understand why people say there is no way Dwight would leave the big money on the table, but then throw CP3's name out there. Would he not be leaving the same amount of money on the table. Besides, he's already in LA and has Griffin (don't know about his injury) and DAndre.

Same reasoning for CP3 to stay in LA, as Dwight would in Houston.

So sad to see Scola go. My heart aches. But, perhaps it is the right move to make. For now, I'll trust Morey knows what he is doing.
