I think DJ Augustin could be had on the cheap just like Lowry and Dragic, then turn into a player.
Looking at his stats, his fg% is horrible. Maybe he needs a change of scenery and a better system.

LOLOLOL, yeah, it was sooooo funny when CP3 tried to take over. But couldn't!.... Cause Blake Griffin can't hit a 15 foot jumper!!!

The best guy they had for CP to use on that deadly P&R was... wait for it.... wait for it..... YES!!!! Kenyon freakin Martin, you kidding me?!?!?

CP3 is a beast and if he had any help in Clipp-town he'd done a lot better than a sweep against the Spurs.

With Blake Griffin twisting his knee for team USA, our chances to pry CP3 away from LA may have increased. It's horrible, but it's true.

I'm not sure how cheap. The Pacers want him according to Stein.

He looks similar to Rafer lol. I'd take him on a low cost deal though, no doubt about it. With our current deals in flux and cap situation being what it is, I don't think we can sign him.

I don't know about Daniel Gibson classic case of a 2 in a pg body he could be a shoot first like AB or mo Williams but it would be a risk he's from Houston and he went to ut so that would be nice grabbing homegrown guy.

cp3 is all dribbles kinda like iverson. cp3 doesn't have that raw speed.

All cp3 was able to do was drive to the free throw line before getting trapped.

Mang cp3 was the big money man and eric bledsoe was getting to the rim better than cp3.

Bledsoe was out of control but he was breaking down the defense by driving and kicking.

Looking at his "career" stats ... there's a big issue w/ Larry Brown coaching him for a year that had a significant negative impact on him. Looking at him last year, he had a bad [big] toe for a significant period of time and to his credit, he played his arse off (or tried to) until he had to go down for a while. You could see it in his walk/face for a while before he had to sit. But .... he's a Pacer now ... and Sessions is a Bobcat. And you got Liv & Ish - two of my favorite guys in the NBA!

He probally had a bad toe so they couldn't trade him to give kemba walker his playing time.

I wish Livingston could summon those clipper playing days ....smh..dude was the next penny hardaway ....he may be ok to start the season but eventually you need to go after a younger PG. That's if machado can't handle his own....guards are easier to come by ...so it is only a matter of time before we find another lowry type player ..

The suns should return the flavor by sending over telfair. Remember how he played his rookie season with the blazers.

Nah, they were trying to give him a very lucrative offer from the get last season. He was leaving due to his own want. The injury was (to me) obvious for a while before he sat. This was no S. Jackson hurting his quad so he wouldn't get traded LOL.

    You don't watch enough basketball.

CP was dominating in N.O. with David West running that same P&R/P&P. You're right he doesn't have "raw" break away speed like Rose or Westbrook but he uses his hesitation to perfection to either freeze the defender at the top of the free throw line and pull up or blow right past him with his quick first step.

The reason he wasn't able to get to the rim as best with the Clippers is that they're big men clog the lane more often than anything. Jordan has absolutely no offensive game period and Blake has some game but he's best when posting up on the block and backing in his defender... not something that suits to the strength of CP3.

Chris Paul, imo, is the best PG in the league today with Rondo being 2nd but not close because of his lack of a 3 point shot. I guarantee if you swap Rondo for CP the Celts would have gotten past the Heat and made the finals this year, he and KG/Bass would have wrecked havoc, with the pick and roll game.

chris paul was supposed to be the man though. Don't talk about what griffin or jordan was doing. I mean griffin isn't even a millionaire with his garbage salary compared to cp3's money.

The clippers biggest mistake was let their former all-star chris kaman walk, although yeah kaman had injuries but his post game was real.

Griffin and jordan would develop more if they had chris kaman as a mentor.

Chris Paul was and still is the man in LA. You have to talk about what Griffin and Jordan and Butler and Williams was doing because this is a 5-on-5 sport, this isn't tennis or golf or even baseball.

Every player needs his teammates for him and the ENTIRE team to be successful and win championships. Blake Griffin is now a "millionaire" as you put it with his extension, now can we put him in the conversation???

Kaman was a ONE TIME ALL-STAR, Griffin has already been and is in his early 20s, and yes he had a great post game but again that's not gonna help CP3 in the pick and roll, pick and pop offense. And btw they didn't let him walk, he was part of the trade that brought in Paul...

Again you need to watch more basketball before you post. Thanks.
