So a trade is coming before camp. Matter now where Magic can get best deal for Dwight, likely between LAL and HOU. Is there a mystery guest?

So if this goes on until August...... anyone think it will? Maybe even past that?

Height does not make one a star.
    7'2" Hasheem for example. SUCKS.

Although come to think of it Bynum wouldn't be a bad option.
    Still, I prefer Howard.

I doubt that. I have a feeling that Magic are growing impatiently with DH on the team because he will bring distraction to the team. I am surprised if this goes on until August...

The only real thing I'm worried about is his knee (which he is constantly using a knee brace to protect) and his temper.
People here completely DESTROYED AB, Von Wafer, and T-Mac for giving up on the team during a game. Bynum might be next when he gets ejected during a key moment of the game. Artest was the exception, but that's because he barely did anything to warrant an ejection.

You are correct, however, Andrew is actually good and has shown he is good.

Don't know if this has been brought up yet... but maybe Hennigan wants to see the young assets in action during the Summer league before pulling the trigger?

Perhaps he's been told he can have his choice and he wants at least some idea of what these guys can do in a game situation.

In that case, can we have Royce White fake an ACL tear?

That's okay. Hopefully he will mature and become more intelligent. Either way, it is worth the risk. I'd rather build around Bynum than any of the guys we have now.

Although I'd rather have Howard. Bynum is legit in his own right. He's a very good one on one defender in the post because of his size, a very good help defender avg'ing the same # of blocks as Dwight. He's got a good touch around the basket and real post moves. Obviously, Dwight is a lot more athletic, and also has the edge rebounding. I wouldn't be upset over ending up with Bynum.

It's possible Hennigan wants to have his new coach in-tow to help make the decision between picking up Bynum or going with Houston's "assets".

If the new coach is Brian Shaw, for example, I could see Orlando gambling with Bynum.
