You can go watch them play in the D-League if you want to see what they can do. ;)

Oh, I don't think he will be faking his nagging injuries, I feel he will have a nagging back problem. As far as his PR goes, he doesn't seem to be too worried about comming off as an @ss b/c teams like us will give up the farm and then beg and plead him to stay, giving him what ever he wants.

Serious question: Does this Bucher guy have any inside info because he says the Magic did not like any package out there. It seems he's a lobbyist for the Nets or something and just bases this on pure speculation since the Magic didn't take the offer that was on the table.

From what I've seen of bad backs, yes, I'd rather take my chances on Jordan and Smith. Perhaps DHo will be Superman, will lead us to a decade of dynasty, will finally find the happiness here that has eluded him his entire career-- as Clyde would say, "Ya think?"-- I think it's more likely we'll be watching the Dwightmare, a series of DNPs-back spasms, a fired coach and GM, another restart.

I'm convinced he, if not all ESPN NBA insiders, are paid by agents to leak info. Not all the time, but when they want something, they go to ESPN.

Here's Adrian Wojnarowski on CBS sports yesterday on Dwight Howard. Saying "Houston is in the best position" because of draft picks and young players. Mentions Jeremy Lamb and Patrick Patterson. Mentioning draft picks from Houston would be better than receiving them from Nets because with a new "Big 3" Nets draft picks would be late in the first round.

If we trade Scola and Martin for future picks/cash considerations, these are our current youngsters:

    Livingston/Machado/Douglas
    Lamb/Brooks (?)
    Parsons/Forbes/Morris
    Motijunas/Leuer/Patterson/Jones/Harrellson
    Jordan/Smith/Brockman

    Am I missing someone?

BTW, the Livingston, Lamb, Parsons, Moti, Jordan unit is pretty tall at each position (except the 2). Maybe we'd finally get some rebounds.

White, of course, thanks! Just flew back to Houston from Singapore, might be another week before I'm awake during the daytime... Heck, put White at the 2 to go REALLY BIG: Livingston, White, Parsons, Motijunas, Jordan.

Dwight Howard can get rebounds and he's not a complete scrub like Jerome Jordan and Greg Smith.
Please. If Greg Smith and JJ are supposed to be the centers of the Rockets' future then everyone might as well off themselves now. :(

You are imagining the pre-back-surgery Dwight.

For rebuilding, I don't think anyone thinks the longterm solution for center or PG are on the current roster, but after a couple of bad seasons we should be able to find one from the lottery.

Dwigt Howard could litterly be restricted to a wheel chair and out rebound these scrubs!!!

Back surgery is not as bad as microfracture knee surgery.
Just because a player gets "surgery" doesn't mean oh his career his over.
