As long as the rockets keep that money ball approach to the organization, they will always be mediocor. No one wants to come and play with houston because of this and the fact that there is no commitment or loyalty to players. I don't know anyone on the team anymore and don't care to watch them, thats sad. Morey has taken over a playoff team and made them a no more team and people are buying into this? Open your eyes, houston will never sign a superstar as long as morey is there. Analyze it all you want and come up with facts on how this makes sense but here in the real world we smell bs and it stinks. Every year we rebuild in a nonrebuild manner, you guys must have good seats at toyota center to support this. We can't sign anyone straight up so now we trade the whole new team we just acquired to get a superstar that we can't provide help for. Genius.

Sigh. Sometimes someone's two cents are not even worth two cents.

How about some debate on this? Since Yao and T-Mac who is the last superstar houston has signed? Has the talent level since been average? Were the rockets a playoff team when morey was hired? Has houston been rebuilding ever since? Your right, sometimes someone's two cents are not even worth two cents.

In Morey's 6 year tenure (2006/07-2011/12), the Rockets have had a win percentage of 58%.

The six years before Morey (2001/02 - 2005/06), the Rockets had a win percentage of 50%.

    So theres that. . .

And that has landed houston who? Let's see Tyson Chandler, Chris bosch, Deron williams or maybe ......
so there's that. No courtney lee, kyle lowry, goran dragic, chase buddinger, and possibly louis scola and kevin martin what winning percentage would that be smart guy?

Rebuliding doesn't happen overnight, buddy. Besides, McGrady and Yao were both stars with a history of injuries, so they were bound to break down. We're trying to build a good team back the HARD way; it's painful (I know).

Is the goal to win championships or to have a superstar?

Houston has had more legit playoff appearances with Yao and T-mac like the 7 game dallas and laker series that seemed like they were a power forward away from a championship but some how was root to dismantle a team. Remember the hustle on the court of battier, landry, scola, hayes, brooks, and von wafer. Houston actually drafted rudy gay. Morey has made a bunch of questionable moves that made sense at the time but never panned out. We miss you Carl Landry.

So how long has houston been rebuilding? Why can't they land that top tier or second tier talent? How about rebuilding through the draft, what draft picks are doing well for us? Your right it is painful but shoot me already buddy, I'm tired of suffering. Morey needs to crap or get off the pot already. Money ball only worked for oakland.

Is that all? I'll take my chances with a legitament superstar if you can only name one team, or is that how morey runs the organization, against allm odds. smh

You asked and I gave you a legit answer. Nothing more, nothing less. I'd be lying to you if I said that the 2004 Pistons weren't an anamoly, but the fact of the matter is that your bashing of Morey, up to this point in the off-season, is unwarranted. But, it seems like a ton of Rockets "fans" have been doing that these days.

Try Boston, as in Red Sox. More of your cred flushed down the toilet.

Let's see, chris bosch just played an important role in WINNING a championship THIS YEAR! Chase buddinger is a young talent houston has had since a rookie so since they are rebuilding it would make sense to keep a young player who just took over the starting job with battier gone. And if you have to ask about louis scola then you don't watch that hustle, toughnes and grit he brings to the team. One of the better moves morey has made but that has been a while. Does that answer your question pal?
