We need to take a hard line with Orlando. We're the one with leverage. Orlando is the one with a screaming baby who refuses to play.

I think some of you overrate our leverage with Orlando. They aren't going to make a bad deal.

I'm for taking on Turk, JRich and Duhon, and amnestying Scola, if it means we get to keep Lamb, White, Parsons and DMo. With those four and Dwight, we are just a point guard away from being a future title contender. We can cut Turk and Duhon next summer, and only be on the hook for about $7 million of their salaries in 2013-2014, I believe? With Scola off the books, I haven't done the math, but perhaps we would have cap room to sign CP3 next summer? We need a CH salary chart, please.

The only people desperate right now are Orlando, NJ, and Dwight Howard. Read the news the past couple of days. Everything coming out is to squeeze more value out of Houston. Do you think that would be necessary if Morey was desperate?

i dont think it would be a true rental. more of a lease with an option to buy since we can offer him the most money next offseason.

If we got him, would Dwight force his way out of Houston?

    No.

    Why?

Outta curiosity, does anyone know if were still pretty relevant in China, if so maybe all the money from the Chinese endorsements would be a persuading factor for Dwight to stay next year?

I went through a lot of pages to find this writing again... Well written sir... Couldn't have said it better myself! (I have heard that I have to be rep'd to give out some rep again so if that happens with me, or if someone else rep's you from me on this writing, that will be fine with me!

Keep up the good work, Rileydog!

Why not just trade Scola for Francisco Garcia and a pick to give Orlando another expiring and pick?

Gay would make a lot of sense. Boozer not so much.
