Smart move by Lopez, he gets a no-trade clause for a year.

sounds like he is trying to leverage a 5th year player option or something.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I would love nothing more than to see Brook Lopez play for the Kittens.

Maybe Lopez is a little pissed about how he has been treated by Brooklyn.

Besides Howard, who do you think is a better center in the NBA than Bynum?

Smart. Nets will either have to give him the 5th year or he'll sign the offer sheet and get a no trade clause for a year out of it.

I think he was the best player on a team that won a ring one year. Though I think he's an exceptional case, frankly.

I don't think Bynum alone wins you a ring. But it's better than adding a Pau or a Josh Smith....

There was this center in the 2002-03 season that started while only scoring 13.5 ppg and 8.5 rpg

When Andrew Bynum leaves the Lakers, his full potential will be unleashed. We have not seen the best Andrew Bynum...I guarantee that.

Unless he is traded for Dwight he won't be leaving the Lakers.

This is insane. Tell me the last 20/10 caliber guy that was the second or even third option on his tram. Given the minutes and the touches, Bynum will easily put up 26/13 as the centerpiece of a team. Worth the risk to me.

Probably not. I already said he is a very good player. I'd definitely take him on my team and would try to build around him.

I just Bynum is a guy who needs a 1B to play with where I expect a superstar to win with 2s and 3s

Nobody. But that doesnt mean it would be smart for the Rockets to go after an average player, just because he is in fact, the 2nd best center in the game.

There's only one good center in the NBA right now. Dwight. Am I leaving anyone out? There are no other good centers right now.
