Rockets involved in trade talk for Dwight Howard or Andrew Bynum

This is a win-win for me. If we get Dwight this week, I get to celebrate in Vegas. If we don't get Dwight, I get to watch our summer league dynasty.

Orlando Magic tells Dwight's rep that they are suspending all trade talks and will just focus on looking for a coach.

Reports saying Magic may want Dwight Howard to stay in Orlando.

 

Could be the reason here.

who cares. it takes the NETS out of the dwightmare sweepstakes.

 

I'm starting to think this was all a ruse so the Magic could take the Nets out of the picture and try to convince him once again to stay.

 

Sigh, guess we have nothing we can offer to the Lakers to get Andrew Bynum?

Just want to screw dealing with Orlando.

 

1 or 3 things is happening:

1) They don't like any offers they are getting and think it would be worth the risk to keep him. If Morey likes the risk, I think their GM would like the risk just the same. DHs are very hard to come by and what’s the point of taking less if he has nowhere to go at the end of the season without taking a huge cut.
2) Wants to see what Rockets rookies are worth it. Right now it’s all a guess. Waiting until trade deadline gives you a better picture.
3) Wants to see what other offers might roll in later in the year. From all the rumors I’m reading, they really can’t go anywhere but up from here.

Dwight drama will continue to the deadline IMO just like last year.

 

The Magic have suspended trade talks until AFTER they name a head coach... Dwight may not be going anywhere..

Dude is a douche bag and the Magic are fools.

 

Brook Lopez is the only winner in this mess.
