Well whoever posited last week that this is a right-leaning forum can have their Humble Pie with Blue Bell ice cream I suppose...
No, being an actual dues paying Socialist while in college (at UT-Austin) its not surprising. I eventually became disillusioned (too much petty in-fighting with others on the far left, honestly too ambitious, and just general evolution of my thinking) and stopped attending my last year in college. And while I don't agree with everything, a lot of what they stand for, I do still agree with. So, like I said, not terribly surprising. This is part of the reason it annoys me to see people call Obama a socialist, I once was and used to fraternize (I'm only friends a couple former members now) with actual socialists and President Obama is anything but.
Exactly, Obama is just a main stream centralist that leans left, but he gets labeled a socialist by the far right who have move so far to the right they cannot even see the center anymore.
...notice how many of the "right-leaning" posters haven't shown any results (because they probably all showed 100% Romney).
I guess I'm just very agreeable. Ron Paul would have been my first choice, really can't decide between Romney & Obama. Edit: Just by fixing my views on healthcare (going from No, to giving a more detailed answer):
Not particularly surprising. I just don't side with his quitting the Republican Party to be head nerd at a debate club.
Did anybody else find that it's hard to answer just 'yes or no'? I thought it was. I used one of the alternate choices on at least 75% of the questions.
