I'm starting to like our chances. However, I've learned to just sit back and wait to see if anything happens. I can't rely on "sources" anymore.

Rely on facts and learn to read the sources for motive.

How the best sports network in the world trots out such terrible NBA "insiders" is beyond me. You can completely dismiss Broussard and Bucher.

AWoj is the one guy I follow.

It's about time someone finally started a Dwight Howard thread.

    THIS.

The delay (IMHO) is the Rockets trying to deal Scola for the last pieces necessary. Orlando isn't interested in Scola's contract so in order for Houston to deal directly with the Magic, they have to deal Scola first to create the cap room necessary to bring over Dwight and another contract. It also would be useful to get another draft pick/trade exception in the deal to use in aquiring Dwight.

As a last resort, the Rockets could be thinking about amnestying Scola as well. Its not as good an outcome as the above, but is a possibility.

DMo leaving seems less likely. The Rockets cannot trade him till August. I can't see this dragging out till then.

What facts? Do we really know what's going on right now?

Don't follow any "insider". Simply hear what they have to say and see if it fits facts. Then consider what each team is trying to accomplish with their salary cap and roster.

You disagree because you want Howard.

Woj and Chris Mannix are regulars on the NBC Sports Network. IMO, Sportstalk is much better than SportsCenter.

Looks like the Lowry trade has been signed off by the league office. Officially having the Toronto pick was the first domino that needed to fall to get the Dwight trade in order...

Lol they really want Brooklyn to be good! They say that it would be great for the NBA but (and I'm sure I'm not alone) I don't know how much of this diva stuff I can handle from these "stars" before I just switch over to watching only college ball.

I disagree because what you said sounded like a load of crap and seemed like nothing more than pure opinion.

The only thing that's scary this morning is the Magic Insider tweets about DeVos (the owner) having to make the final decision and it being above Hennigan's head. We know he has a close relationship with Dwight. Hopefully he has enough pride in his own organization to listen to his management team.
