Bucher and Alridge have never been right about anything. I tune them out every time.

Bucher is wrong because he's a PR mouthpiece for agents. Alridge is usually wrong because he's 10 steps behind everybody else.

and this is absurd becuase it ignores the reality that the Nets can't do it without help. go crazy..jump up and down...make loud noises..you still need someone else to help you do it.

FK Ric Bucher. On ESPN a few weeks ago, he said it's a "Strong possibility" of a 3 team deal where Bynum goes to Orlando along with young talent and draft picks (From Houston). Howard goes to L.A. and we get Pau Gasol. BS

He's probably only reporting that it won't get done this week because the Nets are out of it.

Interesting ... La and Orlando ...wonder if the deal is done

I posted that eariler...just think if he is an insider...and the reports that the deal gets done today...its a 3 way Bynum to hou, howard to la, and whatever to orlando.

LA - Disney Land , ORL- Disney World

I doubt he's giving off inside information - rather just stating the obvious and relating to sources who have indicated there's been advanced talks with Orlando and L.A.

possibly...i really do think this guy is legit. Prob someone we see on TV...someone like matt bullard lol.

Everything he said I think was something that they literally thought was done... cause we did have a trade in place for NO 5 and drummond but THomas Robinson fell on draft night and ruined everything.

Sounds like he may be trying to save face with this tweet...Maybe saying I thought this deal would have happened on draft night...but now its happening...this was at 3 am...and reports from ESPN are the deal gets done today.

    We will see......

Bucher is unbelievable. How much money does he get paid to be a tool?

    Deal is happening today.

Lol @ Bucher. So Sheridan puts something out and Bucher has an entirely conflicting report. Guess we'll find out who has the most reliable source soon.

I think MOST of these guys throw information out there knowing that being wrong won't really hurt their credibility much, but making a logical guess and being right just a couple of times might earn them "he must know stuff" status.

I hope we get Bynum. If we get Howard, I hope we trade him for Bynum and picks.

ESPN said a deal would get done today?

Don't confuse Chris Sheridan for ESPN. He doesn't work there anymore.

And don't confuse ESPN for an actual news source.

I agree about Bucher but Alridge is typically pretty conservative in his reports. Bucher just simply overreacts to sketchy info that he's given by sources who really dont know the whole story anyways.

I think the Nets 4 team package was widely overblown, and was much less far along than reported. Obviously the deal was contengent on Cleveland giving up a quality first round pick to go to Orlando. That part was never going to happen in the first place, but the Nets bandwagon seemed to think that they had it in the bag.

Its obvious that the Rockets have the best package to offer, but what we dont know is if they are offering everything they have. We all know that Morey must make additional moves after the Dwight move if he is to be aquired. He is smart enough to know that much. He must only pay just enough to get Dwight, and not a cent more.

That might be what is stalling this whole thing from happening, whether its to facilitate the trade, or get Dwight to the Rockets firsthand.

Disney was the only one spinning that story. They simply dabble in fiction to get clicks from the big markets.
Notice LA being tagged on to any offer the Rockets have been linked to...
