Bynum is 24 years old and still has quite a bit of upside. Chances are, even if we get a #1 pick (somehow, someway), we may not come out of it with a talent like him.

Dude if we can get Bynum and get him to sign an extension that's good enough for now. We don't have to contend in the next two years, we just have to compete while Bynum is still under contract, which should be for what 5 years?

Personally, i m not judging him on whether or not he get howard. Smart money fr me wuld be to wait it out and get bynum and offer harden next yr. I would just like to see a plan. If they get howard,he's going to leave at the end of the season and a team with cap room will get him and the rockets are left in a worse state than they are now. I would just trade martin for 50 cents on the dollar as long as guys are in their last yr. I would also give scola away even though I really like him. They win 30 games, get in top 10 pick, add bynum and possibly harden, and now they have a real team.

This is the problem with clutch fans .. everytime a rumor comes out we jump all over it like it is a certainty that its going to happen and then when it doenst happen we all call for morey to get fired. Instead of getting excited about rumors (frankly rumors that have been going on for months) I am going to wait till something actually happens

If that big ball of ***** thrown around last night is the best Brooklyn can offer, the Nets won't be getting him unless that Orlando GM is a fool.

You mean he'll need your forgiveness when we're only hitting July 11 now? Before anyone could be officially signed?

He will need my forgiveness upon his exit out of Houston. When Dwight leaves with him.

Rather our seal of approval for his next job.

    "Good job Morey! Bye!"

Yes, I say that with 92.6% certainty. 4.5% room for doubt on Orlando's stupidity and the remaining 2.9% for any error in my calculation.

Interesting that more than twice as many voters think Morey will get it done compared to those who don't.

Judging by the numbers of anti-Morey posts in general in the forum, I guess that supports the theory of the vocal minority really being just that -- a minority (albeit a very loud minority based on numbers of negative posts from the disgruntled).

    Ahh, well. It's a curiosity.

Careful what you ask for, in regards to Bynum.

playing witha ballhog like Kobe would drive any big-man crazy

Bynum is a good player, his immaturity is being blown up by Kobe and Lakers Fans, so we wonthave intrest in him

Cousins is by far worse than Bynum when it comes to maturity

Post's like this crack me up,they completely ignore the fact that Howard hasn't even stepped on a court since having back surgery.

People just add the part that fit's their own wishes.

Jacking up a bunch of shots, terrible FG%, doesnt make his teammates better. Questionable character. Blames other players for his bad shooting nights( like Gasol). Uncoachable

Give me Bynum, and lets see Kobe and Nash fight, and cause some drama. You just know Kobe wont play second fiddle to Nash. Its all talk, if that CP3 trade would have gone down, the Lakers would have been in trouble. Kobe just came off a season with the highest usage rate in NBA History( playing with 2 dominant big-men). The guy is a ball-hog in the truest sense. Good player yes... BUT WAY OVERRATED
