Not anymore. He's MVP for a reason. But I'm not on the Bynum is a superstar and better than deron, dirk, etc... It's ridiculous

I think he (and other ppl) are saying that Gasol/Bryant on the team hurt his numbers, at least offensively. Kobe's a ballhog and Gasol's post game crowd's Bynum's (and vice versa)

Yea but when he is the third, maybe second option on the team, the defense can't focus all of its attention on him.

He's a great player! But not a superstar

I think that right now, if Morey is successful in trading Scola for another #1 (or maybe a young player Orlando has expressed interest in) he will be able to finally push this over the top.

More picks/young talent and the ability to create more cap space to take back Orlando's contracts without involving the Lakers

    =

    Dwight Howard to Houston.

Give me Bynum long-term over renting Howard.

My '96-throwback-roster MLBShow12 Astros franchise is calling my name but I can't pull away from CF until something goes down.

Tony Eusebio will have to wait.

    Maybe....?

    HOU: Bynum, Hedo

    LAL: Howard, Scola, J. Richardson

ORL: Martin, Gasol, 2 (1st) round picks via HOU, + 2 young players via HOU

Is this team a top 4 seed in the West?

    Douglas/Lee/Parsons/Scola/Bynum
with bench that includes Morris, Motie and PatPat.

The starting lineup is pretty good defensively, and can get the job done scoring in the paint. (I'm assuming that Orlando will require Lamb, White, Toronto's pick, future Rockets 1st rounder, and some second rounders)

Obviously, LA and OKC are tops in the West.

After that, it's SA, LAC, Portland, Denver, etc.

Where would the above lineup fit in in the West? I'd have to say a 5 or 6 seed this year.

Would be exciting to have a young, dominating center back in H-Town again. As far as Bynum goes, I just think he's the complete package. Injury history and immaturity aside (you could say both those things about Dwight right now) Bynum can rebound, block shots and dominate the paint offensively. Because Miami, LA, and OKC are so much further along in their championship contention, I like the idea of building around a younger guy. I really hope that Morey retains some of our young talent because even with Bynum, we've still got a lot of rebuilding to do. I really like the idea of keeping Royce white. I just think that White and Bynum on the floor together would present a host of matchup nightmares for opposing teams.

Love your optimism but if a deal doesn't get done in the next 2 hours, you might as well go to sleep. GM's need their sleep a lot more than we do.

No way Dwill , love and Melo are better players to build around than Bynum. Bynum is a legit 7ft center !
