I imagine they would find a way to get under the cap next year even if it mean trading a player for peanuts to create cap room to sign Howard to the largest contract possible.

Luxury tax doesn't seem to be an issue. Just Dwight's willingness to leave Bird rights money out there. In the grand scheme of things, leaving that kind of money might not be such a big deal if he's trying to create a "Global" brand.

 

Bynum's not a superstar. Do you think Bynum can carry us to a championship? That's laughable. No team can possibly win a championship when Andrew Bynum is their best player. Dwight Howard CAN. He almost did it with the Magic at the age of 23.

 

You are trying to. Its not working. I have nothing to do with DD. You just have to deal with the fact there other posters always right and half of you are mostly wrong about 90% of the time. When you are just have to deal with it and take it like I would if Morey comes through. Deal with it in other ways than to call out others with false rumors, namecalling, or threats of what you want to happen to us. Maybe just own up to it if nothing happens again for the 100th time already by now. I already said i would if Morey pulls off Bynum or Dwight. Dwight might not even stay making me right again when he leaves.

It really isn't possible. Assuming they resign Lopez, they'd have to find teams under the cap to send Lopez, Wallace, Marshon Brooks and any other contract on their roster to in order to get the room under the cap. But then they'd literally have no one on the roster but three players. They couldn't even fill out a team.

 

Although I prefer Dwight over Bynum, but let's say we get DH , what can a team with Dwight , Arron brooks ,Asik and Donatas can accomish this year ( assuming we lose 2 of the three rookies, Scolla and Kevin Martin )

I don't think people on here realize how diffcult it really is to find a quality center right now in the NBA.

Centers are more valued because of that. It's just like your everyday life, for example, if there are a shortage of various meats because of a simple disease, then OBVIOUSLY, the price and value of these "meats" will obviously sky rocket..

Bynum IS better than Melo. As for the others, he has the potential to be more dominant.
