DA on nba tv gave some thoughts that are very interesting. he basically said that if he was the okc gm, he would call up orlando and offer james harden and serge ibaka to get dwight howard.

he then talked about how hard it would be for dwight to refuse to play with durant and westbrook.

what are your thoughts on this?

-side note: the nets are close to resigning brook lopez, which would mean that they can no longer trade for dwight.

DA also said that dwight will probably have to change his mind, since brooklyn may have to be off his list if the nets sign brook lopez soon.

Orlando already offered Howard for Harden and Ibaka few months ago, OKC turned down offer.

sorry for 3 posts in a row, but i just wanted to mention- it seems as if howard doesn't really want to win as badly as we think he does. if that was the case, then he would definitely want to be in okc. with miami having a stacked team now, why would he refuse to sign an extension with them?

I have a feeling Presti is higher on Harden long-term than Westrbook.

I want to see Durant and co. do it on there own. It would seem a little cheap (see 2012 Miami Heat) to join someone else's team in order to win a championship.

not sure if serious? westbrook just got an extension, and harden has yet to receive an extension. not only that, but most people believe okc will choose to sign ibaka instead of harden when their contracts expire next year.

Harden is RFA next year, Orlando could match any offer. However, he will sign extension this summer.

Westbrook is potencial top 30 all time player and left 13 million on the table when he signed extension.

They wouldn't be able to afford Ibaka and Harden anyway, not if they expect to keep the depth they have. The issue here is DH likes to go to a big city more than he like winning, I think its apparent by now he's more Melo than LBJ. If you're someone interested in winning, why turn down a chance to play with KD and WB and challenge the heat for best collection of players on a team? Not only that, OKC has a rabid fanbase and no one on that team is an Addidas endorser.
