    bynum can be in a wheelchair for the first 5months...

    im not going off name recognition at all... i know the sport and their talent levels... your hate for dwight and the bad press and debacle thats went down is clouding your judgement...

    DWIGHT is better... He is more than worth the risk...

    This is just bullcrap. Why the hell are we helping to build up a lakers team with kobe gasol and dwight?? Theres no way in any scenario that we can ever compete with that kind of team. This is just stupid stupid stupid. I dont have an idea of what would fix this team but all i know is if we help facilitate this the best we can do for the next few years is to fight for lakers thunder scraps. Stop reaching morey, you have been doing that for the past three years. It makes you overspend and do dumb things like being the helpful bottle of lube fpr the lakers to use pn the magic

    I would love to get Howard. In 2013, with the way Morey's created flexibility with his moves, I think we might be able to sign two max contracts - meaning we might be able to get Chris Paul and Dwight.

    If Morey could get a decent team around Dwight this year, have his bird rights, AND be one of the spots where a team with CP3 AND Dwight could be possible.

    i would LOVE both...

    BUT id much prefer option 2 with dwight...

    correct me if im wrong but im sure every rockets fan would prefer that...

    stop bashing other fans. I live in georgia, they're just like our fans. they show up when they win games. It's not like they're truly different from any other fans. we're all fans, we love our team when we're doing good, get mad when we suck and stuck in mediocrity.

    The deal in the works, involving the #Rockets, #Lakers, and #Magic would have Dwight Howard along with Jason Richardson in LA, Andrew Bynum along with Jordan Hill and Duhon in HOU, and 2 future 1st picks 2 of there prospects from the 2012 draft in ORL.

    What, we get Bynum AND we get Hill back???

    ^^^ DING! DING! DING! That is why Dwight Howard is the player to go for! Even if Dwight Howard is still unsure about the Rockets organization months into playing for them, Morey can tell Howard: "Look man... you saw the news out there before we traded for you... That we had the choice of either the 2nd best center in Bynum or the greatest center out there in today's NBA in Dwight Howard... As you can see D-12, that right there should tell you all you need to know about us... That we don't settle for second-best... That we strive to get the best players to come play with the Houston Rockets and you are that starting piece to making that happen and for the city of Houston to win multiple championships!"

    I mean, in my mind, putting it in an analogy, its like this:

    Imagine you are eating at a fancy steakhouse... And you just ordered this 12oz steak... It finally gets to your table and you have the choice of topping it off with one of two condiments: A-1 Steak Sauce or Ketchup. Both will give that steak acceptable much-needed flavor, but which would you go for? Howard (A-1) or Bynum (Ketchup)?

    We're not trying to compete with Nash, Kobe, and Gasol. With Bynum, we could simply outlast those 30-somethings, and shoot for 3 years from now (when Miami will start declining some as well).

    I'm fine with making LA a title favorite for the next two years in order to get Bynum.

    By the time Morey has assembled a complete team, Kobe and Nash will be riding off into the sunset and Bynum will be hitting the prime of his career.
