A year from now, Rockets will not be any better than the best Magic teams with Dwight. In fact, it will be worse.

Why does he want to get out of Orlando? surely he can get the MAX money there?!

If he wont walk away, he is going to do what he is doing in Orlando. Be a headache for everyone.

He'd be just as valuable a trade piece next year if we didn't want him. I bet you could get a top 3 pick for him.

bynum might attract decent players... true...

    dwight attracts great players... true...

with bynum we might attract or get a FA like harden...

with dwight we might attract or get a FA like cp3...

    HUGE difference in talent levels...

Bynum can be a 30/10 guy. He needs the touches. It's part of his frustration when he plays. It's why he gets disinterested.

Well, if Dwight is willing to stay I would take him without hesitation. However, since he hasn't said anything about staying and Bynum has expressed wanting to come to houston, I would prefer him...

Correct me if I'm wrong though, you'd take either scenario, wouldn't you? Because I sure as hell know that I would.

I think you are a little tough on Bynum. He is the second best center in the NBA. While not Lebron level, that is better than Bosh level in my opinion. There aren't that many really good 7 footers in the game today, but Bynum is one of them.

when nash went to lakers bynums name was bought up alot actually. You going off name recognition like every other casual nba fan. Dwight can be in a wheelchair and out for the first 5 months of the season and you would still want him because his name is dwight howard and thats all you know. so STOP THE BS

Aside from that Playoff game with 10 Blocks, iirc didn't Bynum also have a Playoff 30 Rebound game?

I just hope we can get one of the guys, but let's not set ourselves up for disappointment, especially debating between Bynum or Howard.

The main thing is Howard is a little bit older, but is stronger and has better stats. Stats isn't the best argument however because Bynum had Kobe and Gasol on his team. Another big thing to consider: Howard claims he will walk after one season and Bynum want's to be here. I think I would chose Bynum.

When he plays on Andrew Bynum's Rockets, not Kobe Bryant's Lakers, we will see the true Bynum.

    16.6 ppg, 11.1 rpg, 3.1bpg, 48% fg

no other center put up numbers close to all of those in the playoffs.

The first player requested by any trading partner is going to be Parsons. He may not have the upside of some of the others, but he's cheap and he's proven himself as a starter.
