I would say yes if you built it with 3 guys similar to Bosh, Lebron, and Wade. Bosh by my estimation worse than Bynum and now with the same amount of Championships.

Which player offered the max years/% raise extension has walked away from such an offer to sign with a different team for 1 year, $25M less?

Remember Bosh and Lebron signed their deals under the old CBA, when they were able to get the max years (6 years) via sign and trade. This cannot be done now.

I hope Dwight gets stuck in Orlando and won't be able to go to Brooklyn cuz of cap reasons. Every day Dwight Dwight Dwight. End this already!

    Like I said--before 1992.

After that offseason, he became a completely different person.

Before then, he faked a pulled hamstring, and had a falling-out with then-owner Charlie Thomas, and asked to be traded--but no deals came that game the Rockets equal value.

But he and Thomas reconciled in the 1992-93 preseason, and now they have no beef with one another.

That's what I'm talking about. Olajuwon changed. Bynum hasn't.

Most likely the latter. I like the quiet. It means the teams are taking their time to create the possible team.

On a contender, thats good enough for a 3rd best player. Rockets will still need to find 2 star players to play with him. He is not even consistent to be the second best player on a serious contender. He has disappeared far too often in the playoffs for the Lakers. He decides to show up for one game in the playoffs and then enters twilight zone for the next few.

Rockets do not even have a Kobe, Gasol, or Artest to compensate for his disappearing acts.

Now if the Rockets bring him in knowing that they will still need to get legitimate stars to build a contender I am fine with that.

Problem is, Rockets, despite trying hard, have not been able to secure any stars in a while.

Which means he's had six years to change.

    Has he?
