I don't know what you're talking about with Hakeem's "fist of fury." Though I do admit he was a bit of a jerk at times, until 1992, when he rededicated himself to his religion--and THAT is when he gradually became the class act he is now.

Vernon Maxwell went into the stands because he thought a fan was making fun of his stillborn child. (The fan claims he wasn't, but there's no way to prove either way.) I would have gotten enraged too--with righteous fury. (Not that this excuses the OTHER stuff Max did in his career...)

I'll see Bynum change first. He has not changed, thus he has given me no reason to trust him with this team.

but what happens if say bynum gets injured... or our young players done develop... or some other super team is made while were sitting around twiddling our thumbs trying to build a team of second rate stars...

if you have a chance at a bonafide franchise changing allstar you take it... bynum is not a franchise altering player... very good player , yes.... but not franchise altering...

dwight will attract other superstars to come play with him...

    bynum will not....

If averaging 16/11/2 blocks is a tease at the C position, then I'm more than fine with that.

Just remember this awaits Morey and the Morey followers if he pulls off neither though.

It is either those two options and hoping for the best, or tank.

I don't mind any of the three options to be honest.

Best case scenario is that we get Dwight and convince him to stay with the extra $$$ he gets.

Even if it is Howard and he walks, Can you imagine the what Morey would make out with in the sign and trade?

What an optimist you are. So basically you are saying that we can't win no matter who we trade for.

I hope you're sitting down, or in a suitably padded environment because this may come as quite the surprise. Howard......wouldnt be the first player to do this. Sorry dude, I know you're easily flustered but I had to put it out there.

so when people speak of starting superteams they name bynum?

hes the 2/3 option on the team because he has always been the 2/3 best...

    howard demands attention..

    bynum not so much...

    so, stop the BS...

I think it is feasible (maybe even likely) that Bynum improves enough to where he begins to attract talent. Getting either Bynum or Howard is a good idea as long as the deal is semi-sane. I favor the Bynum trade if it comes with a strong impression we can sign him long term.

    In my perfect world.

    Bynum
    Motiejunas/T Jones
    Parsons/White
    Lamb/Llull (after next season)
    Point guard to be found/Machado
