Andrew Bynum will be the best thing that has happened to the Rockets in a LONG time.

Those guys took less money to play with 2 other superstars...Sure, you can assume that teams would clear their roster to try and somehow lure Dwight...but the odds of that are still less than the odds of the Rockets resigning him. And even if a team does clear cap room, Dwight would be leaving 30 million on the table. It just doesnt make sense.

And Morey doesnt have to give into Dwight for a sign and trade. Let Dwight walk.

I just hope we can keep Lamb in the deal. I'm guessing Morey considers DMo off the table since he signed him.

I would love it if we ended up getting Bynum. Yes, I realize this trade likely sets up the Lakers to win one more title before Kobe retires, but Bynum is only 24 and a guy that likely signs long-term in Houston. Plus he averaged 19 and 12 last season with the Lakers. How many centers not named Howard are doing that? Another added benefit of getting Bynum in addition to him more likely to re-sign is the fact that Houston wouldn't have to give up as much. I would bet that Houston would only have to give up K-Mart (for the expiring contract), the first round pick from Toronto, and then maybe Jones or White and the pick from Dallas. That would allow us to keep Lamb, Parsons, D-Mo and White to hopefully rebuild with while still remaining competitive with Bynum.

Agreed. Since Ron left the team lacks a borderline dirty guy.

That foul is nothing compared to what they used to do in the 80's

    no blood, no foul

you attack the rim back in those days, be prepared to knocked on your butt

the NBA has gotten way soft

Correct me if I'm wrong, but since we recently signed him he can't be traded until December or something right? Or does that only apply to signing free agents who weren't previously on your team?

    Mike Bresnahan:
Key development in Lakers' pursuit of Dwight Howard: They're more open to taking back contract of G-F Jason Richardson (3 yrs, $18.6 mill)."

Kobe will be done in 3. So will Nash.

    Bynum is 24. TWENTY FOUR.

It will be a sad day if we get neither.

Lakers were getting blown out that game, which was why the foul was unnecessary. Can't let our hate for Dallas cloud our judgment.

I think it's august for rookies and that's why we had to wait a little while for the Artest/Greene trade to go down a few years ago. Hypothetically we could just agree to the trade and wait until August for it to go through but I highly doubt Morey would have created that road block if he intended to trade DMo.

Lol right, but thats probably whats most likely. I'v pretty much trained my self not to look in to any of these tweets and "sources" by now, i don't expect a deal to be done with us getting dwight nor andrew.

Then Gasol would have to be involved. They cant take on Howard and JR without dishing out Gasol.

I think if the Rockets end up in a 3 way, we will end up with Gasol and Bynum.
