As i wrote earlier, teams can create cap space between now and next July if they know dwight will be a free agent. Its not hard to understand. Look how quickly Atlanta cleared.

Dwight can also force a sign and trade if hes unhappy....

AND MONEY AINT A THING. Did Lebron or Bosh care about the extra cash their respective teams could offer? NOPE. GOT THAT ON A SHOE DEAL DAWG

[IMG] Another reason to like Bynum in my opinion. Dallas HATES him.

Make LA pay through the nose. Houston is doing the heavy lifting.

Figure that Lakers take JRich (3 years left), Rockets take Metta (2 years left). Lakers get Howard, Rockets get Bynum, Magic get assets and draft picks. Some ancillary pieces also moved. Everyone happy.

You will seriously give yourself an aneurysm trying to reason with some of these people. A lot of fans here are just jaded by what they see as a series of bad luck and misfortune. Thing is, stuff just happens, and if we get Dwight that will be one of the better things to have happened to the Rockets in a long time. Once here I would believe that the management will have a pretty good shot of convincing him to stay. Some people just need to see to believe I guess.

No I agree. Howard or Bynum would do us a lot of good.

I read it as Lakers being able to supplement our offer by taking an additional bad contract from Orlando (probably for one of our 7 PFs to backup Gasol).
