Because he's writing his long article on how the two teams (Houston Rockets and Orlando Magic) have reached an agreement that will bring Howard and J-Rich or Turk to Houston and ??? to Orlando...

I'm just kidding... But seriously, I hope that's whats happening right now... *fingers crossed*

Yeah it could. Let me take it one step further. Dwight could have back issues for the rest of his career and Bynum could be the best center in the league then. Anything could happen. Bynum could get injury prone or Dwight. Right now getting either one of them, especially the one who will resign is the surest way to a more positive situation. Then you can attract players here with Bynum in place if he has a great season as the go to guy.

    Again with this nonsense?

Seriously, where would he go? Zero percent chance of Howard being here long term? I mean, the thought process of some people here is mind boggling.

Why would HOU offer same package to ORL, take back same contracts, to get Bynum? Lakers should be taking back some ORL salary (besides DH12)

Agreed. Lal must add something extra to the trade + Bynum

If we get Bynum and don't eat any of the bad deals and don't give up all of young guys I'll be able to stomach it a little better.

Umm nooo. Andrew Bynum is easily a #1 pick almost ANY year if people knew he would pan out this way. He's the 2nd best center in the league. He is going to be better than Noel. Not Wiggins, probably Shabazz. Shabazz is gonna be James Harden 2.0. Trust me, Bynum is good. Anytime you have a chance to get a top 3 center in the league for picks and unwanted players (martin, scola) you do it.

trying to sweeten a deal in a future draft lottery for Heningan and the Magic Owner, if they dont go through with involving Houston in any trade

Agree that Magic is probably looking to rebuild. Ryan Anderson trade suggests as much.
Nets's inability to come up with anything after all the circus suggests that bird not flying.
BTW, espn's player rankings have Howard at #2 (Lebron #1) & Bynum at #30. Like him or not, Howard is a superstar; Bynum not yet.
