Bynum brings the stupid type of toughness that only a special few have. We need some of that here. No more flop, no more face getting stepped on. I can see myself cheering Bynum as he gets thrown out of a game for fighting. Or when he gets ejected for threatening an official. Or when he gets t'd up for talking **** to the visiting bench after a man's finish on missed layup.

Sure we may have to deal with a few incidents at downtown bars, we've dealt with that before. Barkley, Maxwell, or Rudy T. All of those guys are legends and fan favorites.

Summertime DUI's happen. Might beat up a girlfriend or a female reporter... no big deal. Entourage arrested for concealed weapons without a permit. Nothing out of the ordinary for a star center.

It just feels right, get it done Daryl.

We had absolutely no chance of grabbing Chris Bosh. He even admitted himself he was just playing around with other teams. He was 100% going to Miami no matter what.

So do you think he would leave 30 million on the table just to sign with Dallas? What is in Dallas that is worth that much money? I'd say odds are better that he would resign with Houston than sign for less with Dallas.

Maybe it is just me but I think Bynum would settle down a little with a change of scenery, especially one where he is "The Guy".

He will be just 25 next season so some maturing is inevitable.

His offensive game is better than Howard's (with room for growth as well), better FT shooter, and hasn't even been with Hakeem yet!

Oh yeah, he may be a punk sometimes, but he's not worried about his brand and just wants to play ball. Or at least it seems!

Lol. .. This was hilarious. I agree though. I want Bynum. The team we have right now is full of nice guys. The last few years we have had nice guys only. We have also had the 14th pick

"Sources" are on the record saying Bynum would consider singing here, just like "sources" say Howard will only play for one team. The media is a tool and agents and GMs manipulate it to suit their agendas (JA Adande confessed to this just this week).

So I don't think you can factor in the odds of it being a rental when deciding between the two.

I am having a hard time deciding myself. Bynum has more potential to become offensively dominant and is a bit younger while Howard is already the best defensive big in the game but lacks a refined post game.

Plus, they are both knuckle-heads... Give me either and I'm happy.

EXACTLY! Because he's NOT! I am not guaranteeing anything but say if Chris Paul wanted to go to another team, and had the opportunity/choice to play for either Dwight Howard or Andrew Bynum, which player do you think he'd rather play with? Hmmm.... that's a tough one.

Why does Bynum want to be here? Doesn't he hate Houston? (that game where he got ejected for trash talking our players)

So, he's gonna walk away from a birds rights contract and lose close to $60 million over the next 10 years, all to play second fiddle to a 35-year-old Nowitzki, Shawn Marion, and whoever else they can sign for about $7 million???

    Like I said........keep naming teams.

I'm all for having tough guys but Bynum is not the answer. Its not toughness that makes him throw elbows, its his immaturity and unwillingness to get "shown up". Eventually he's going to connect on a NBA poster boy like Durant or LeBron and get SMACKED by Stern.

I'm really really really liking the idea of bringing in Bynum...I would love this trade, however, if there were another trade to follow (example: Josh Smith)

Like most of ya'll i'd hate to see the young guys go, but you have to spend money to make money. If we could keep just one young guy though, it would be Lamb (IMO he can be a T-mac type player down the road)

Lamb + Smith + Bynum would be deadly

Sure why the heck not? I'd reconsider taking there garbage contracts included in the deal.
