Hard to imagine a way we don't end up with one of the two big guys. I've been wrong before, though. Crossing my fingers.

Bynum also never had the amount of double teams howard has faced because of those players....its a 2 faced sword, howard is still MUCH better than bynum

Morey was playing chess while most CFers were playing checkers. He knew this would be the best draft pick Orlando could get for Dwight.

If he gets Bynum with the promise of an extension people will be singing his praises

    Succinctly stated. Bravo Chad Ford.

Indeed. If Orlando does trade with the Nets they will look like Dwight Howard's b*tch too.

I feel that we are really in a good position now. Unless Howard is traded to the Nets, we will be involved. If we don't get Howard, we will get Bynum.

    Win-win.

It'd be more succinct to say rebuild instead of blow it up.

Yeah he will. Admitted. Now get Bynum and dunk my head in the toilet over my doubt. Remember the Mortal Kombat like finishes I have gave everyone over the last few weeks on morey? You can give it back if he finalizes a deal to at least get Bynum here and resigned. You wont get the Mortal Kombat like finish on his doubters on getting Howard here for at least a year if he resigns. Which he wont and then Morey might be done as GM if he doesnt. Which would ultimately go back to his doubters being right again.

Houston is a team he would consider. Just Like Howard would next year.

Still a bit worried about Atlanta or some other team swooping in. Other than that I feel pretty good.

Iam pretty confident about bynum resigning since
    1. He has already stated us as one of the teams hed resign with
    2. We have tons of cap room
    3. Because i think hes the type of player that would never turn down 30 million...which is why iam little iffy about acquiring him.

Not that many players would give up the 30 mill, but i feel theres more question marks with him:
1.Injuries have been something consistent up till last year
    2. Work Ethic
    3.Headcase

While Dwight is also a drama queen hes a proven superstar so the only way id accept bynum over dwight is if we dont take back ANY bad contracts.

    IF WE TRADE FOR HOWARD........

where exactly is he going to run off to and sign a max contract next offseason??????

Just name one place he's going to walk to. That's all. Just one.

    Exactly.

First, it was those people that shouted "Howard is never coming to Houston!!"

Now, its those people saying that he'll leave.

Could he leave? Sure. But the way people state it is as if its 100% he would leave...when in actuality, there is more of a likelihood he would stay.

He just doesnt have many viable options.

Exactly! He'd also leave 30 million in houston. No way he does that
