Didn't the Lakers made it clear that they wont give up Bynum for Dwight unless he signs an extension? I doubt that will happen as DH only wants BK.

Not bad, but in no way good enough to beat the Heat Lakers of Thunder. They would have to get another good big man to pair with Bynum, and probably a wing player.

David Aldridge: Everybody wants this(Brooklyn) trade to happen but experience is, when you get to 3-4 teams, it's difficult to make it happen. So many moving parts. So many guys who have to sign contracts. It was difficult to get everyone to agree. Orlando wants draft picks. Draft picks Brooklyn was going to send, those weren't going to be very good. Cleveland didn't want to part with their picks. It was hard to make that deal happen. Orlando never stopped talking to other teams. ... Houston is sitting there with a bunch of assets, players, picks. They got Martin, Scola, and a lot of pieces they can put together. Lakers always a possibility but problem is, Bynum has given no indications he'll extend and after giving the Suns all their picks, they have no picks, so it's difficult for them. It could be a multi-team deal, but I don't think this will happen today or tomorrow. It will take a few days.

    Wow.

    Wow.

If we are able to hold onto Martin (who would EASILY be a 25 pt a night scorer on the same team as Bynum), Scola and Parsons... I LOVE this trade.

No chance we sign Lin. But if we ink Brooks (many of us forget how good he can be at times) and Asik. I like our team.

Not enough to get far in year one or two... but huge potential as young guys develop.

Some fans are never satisfied! Bynum is a Top 15 player at a very difficult position, Center, to get a top player in todays NBA. How do some on this board think that next year we are gonna get a star in FA? Bynum is the first top player to even mention the Rockets in a good light. We get Bynum, get him extended, then we will be in prime position to add more top players. Even if we do get him, that doesn't mean Morey is done this offseason. He could make another trade for a top backcourt player that we might no know is available.

was Blake Griffin 'the guy' for the LAC? Was Yao enough by himself?

Bynum is like the little speck of dust that starts a snowflake forming around it. He is not enough by himself but he pulls the Rockets out of being a wasteland for FA's

Actually, I would rather see Martin and Scola in the deal and keep the young guys to develop with.

I have a feeling Orlando is using the Rockets and the Lakers to leverage the more from the Nets.

I'd agree except the nets don't really have anything else.

Bynum would be a great move. Much better than the mediocrity of Asik and Lin.

Not sure what else NJ can offer. They can only take so much salary back and they need other teams help getting the Magic more first round picks.

What is "more" exactly? Nets have garbage.
