It's BS. Rudolph is just saying what Howard wants him to.

the Nets still have nothing to offer though other than injured-Lopez and low 1st round pics. A lottery 1st is worth way more than bottom pics...see Houston's attempt to move up into the lottery by packaging 3 1st round picks for one lottery pic! It didn't work.

I think this is a leverage move to get another team (Hou? LAL?) to up the offer. We know the Nets can't match the assets and pics of Houston so why in god's name will the Orlando GM want to A) Get the NEts crappy package back and B) Create another powerhouse in their conference?

    Probably a big smokescreen

Bynum is only what 24/25? I'd do that trade in a heart beat and still be able to retain some rookies? Either way I'd rather have a content Bynum than a disgruntled Howard. Just sayin

The structure of any deal has to have these components:

LA must give up Bynum and take on additional salary.

Houston must include Scola or Martin for cap purposes, both Toronto and Dallas 1st, both NYK 2nds, and 2-3 young prospects.

Orlando will send out Howard and at two of Richardson, Davis, and Turkoglu.

To me, a fair trade is:

Houston OUT: Martin, T Jones, Parsons, Toronto pick, Dallas pick, 2 2nd NYK picks.
    Houston IN: Bynum, Davis

    LA OUT: Bynum
    LA IN: Howard, Richardson

Orlando OUT: Howard, Richardson, and Davis
Orlando IN: Martin, T Jones, Parsons, Toronto pick, Dallas pick, 2 2nd NYK picks.

Not sure how this falls in the trade machine, but it addresses all the issues of the teams involved.

I don't think anyone here thinks Bynum is better than Howard but this is a really stupid way to compare players. Yeah, lets take the ONE head to head matchup and use that to decide who is the better player.

Yes, I agree. Those three plus Bynum, a GREAT, young nucleus!

He has only played a full season once (sophomore year). Screw that, he is Yao waiting to happen all over again.

We dont want the consolidation prize.

haha..not to mention they play very different rolls on their respective teams. Howard is their primary scorer and Bynum was 2 or 3ed. Less touches, less points. And a one game comparison is not a large enough sample size.

Keep Royce White though. Bynum & White combo will be fierce! Very excited about the prospect of Bynum. Best possible outcome in my opinion.

If we can draft a Kobe and a Pau in the draft we might win a title.
