    Would you guys do:

    LA receives Howard and Scola
    Houston receives Bynum and Gasol
Orlando receives Martin, Lamb, White, Jones, 1st round pick from Toronto, 1st round pick from Dallas, and two 2nd round picks from Knicks

Obviously, there would be more to it than this, but as a starting point...thoughts?

With four-team Dwight Howard deal no longer in play, source says Houston is calling teams with cap space looking to dump more salary. The Rockets are still pushing hard to put the best package in front of Orlando, though @EricPincus is reporting the Rockets' target may be the Lakers' Andrew Bynum. Per Pincus, the Magic, Rockets and Lakers have had preliminary talks about a deal that would send Howard to the Lakers, Bynum to Houston and picks/prospects/cap relief to Orlando.

How could this possibly work to the benefit of all three teams?

    Main players:

LA in - Howard, Scola; out - Bynum, Gasol
ORL in - Gasol, Martin; out - Howard
HOU in - Bynum; out - Scola, Martin

In that scenario, minus contract adjustments and lucky draft picks/rookie pick ups, LA wins HUGE, Houston does pretty good (even though I hate Bynum and love Scola), and Orlando looks like a whipping boy. That really can't possibly be happening.

I don't like assisting the Lakers either but if it is they only way for us to get a difference maker I guess I will live with it.

I would however be sick to my stomach if I saw...

    Nash
    Kobe
    Parsons
    Gasol
    Howard

    if we can get Bynum

i'd give up Toronto and Mavs future picks, Martin to even salaries, any two of White, Motiejunas and Jones and either Morris or Patterson.

I wanna keep Parsons and Lamb.

    Bynum
    Scola
    Parsons
    Lamb
    Brooks

    would be fun to watch

It's about time. It's looked like Howard to LA, Bynum to Houston, was the only option which could leave both the players and managment even remotely happy.

⸮The only thing that worries me is that Bynum wasn't drafted in the top 5. This, of course, means he can't be a star.⸮

NO TO DWIGHT!!!! IS MOREY THAT IGNORANT??? Does he not know Dwight will ruin this team and the chemistry because he will do whatever he can for the Rockets to trade him soon after. Its no point in trading for Dwight Howard. Keeping our young draftees and our lottery picks is a lot better than a few months with Dwight and his drama and whining and pouting until he gets traded. NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!

ROFL. I think they'd rather just stop reporting on it. Or put out hours old/days old reports about the Nets trying to get Howard.
