Cannot be a dynasty with those players at their current ages. 1 or 2 years is the window.

Ha. Beat me to it. I'm not a fan of the trade. That's just an absurd lineup right there.

That is more like it, despite Bynum being a bit of a dumbass.

bynum and mchale wont like each other much. Bynum was pulling that BS in LA during games but that crap pulled in houston will have him riding the pine.

Bynum is great, but we need a team here. Not pack all the picks please Morey.

The reason it makes sense for us is that Bynum is only 24 and we will get him on a long term extension. Nash, Kobe, and Gasol don't have much left in the tank. I see maybe 2 years of excellence before they fall off similar to Boston. After that the West will be wide open. Miami could still be good for 3-4 more years though

We pay the price of the best player in the trade and get the second best player in the trade. Where have I seen this before?

Only way the Rockets do this is the Lakers convince Bynum to agree to an extension with Houston.

rockets sold their best trade chips for picks and bench warmers. Orlando needs more than martin and rookies i guess.

Morey would have a star to build around. Let the injury scares begin!

We'll give LA a 2 year dynasty to improve our team for years to come. And, don't count out the Thunder...Dwight is not THAT much better than Bynum. And Nash will get destroyed by Westbrook even worse than Sessions got killed.

Bynum is that sexy woman that really likes you and wants to have a long term relationship but right now is dating someone else.

Howard is that hot stripper that works at the gentlemens club who has no interested in you that might stick around if you shower her with money or she might not.

So it comes down to what you desire and prefer. Steal the sexy woman and move on perfectly happy or snag that hot freak stripper and hold on for dear life.

I for one am okay with either choice both are better than that average boring chic we have been dating the last few years.

I'm hoping this isn't the case.

We're gonna regret ever making the Lakers that much better with a star center, Nash, Kobe, and Gasol on the same squad.

I know Dwight's back is a concern but it's been nothing chronic the way Bynum's knees have been an issue. The guy hasn't made it through a complete 82 game season once.

Then there's the immaturity angle people are hitting on. That's two negatives to the player we would plan on building our team around. Just saying.

Lakers would be real good for like 2 or 3 years. Kobe is getting old. Nash is old. Howard might leave. No worry about how freakish they are.
