even if we do get dwight, who are going to surround him with? the roster around him over here would be about level to the one in orlando.

how is this only a 3 star thread when the source is the number 1 rumor/fact source in the NBA? but other stupid threads has 5 star right away.

    can't compute.

"HOOPSWORLD has learned that there’s been preliminary discussion between the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets that would involve sending Andrew Bynum to the Rockets and Howard to the Lakers."

    It's hoopsworld so...

I'd give a link but their website is crazy slow now

Not If we keep Chandler Parsons and Royce White, and sign Aaron Brooks.

I wish Orlando Management would just go to this idiot howard and tell him look you have only 2 options.

    1. You sign the extension with us.

    2. You are being traded to the Rockets.

The Nets are not an option. They have no valuable assets.

    This isn't rocket science folks.

So is Bynum now considered a franchise player? Really?

Well if those are the 2 options then why has this been delayed for so long. I still think this trade should have went down before the draft so the Magic could have drafted who they wanted. It would have been a win win situation for everybody involved.

A 24 year old who is the second best center in the league is a franchise player.

I don't see the Magic pulling the same stunt after Howard threatened to sue them for being blackmailed into waiving is option to terminate his final year.

The Magic know he will sign with ANYONE but them and the Bobcats if they keep him. He will fake an injury all season out of anger for everything the Magic put him through.

The ONLY thing that scares me with Bynum (not his injury history), is his immaturity. That's more likely to derail his career than injury. Wasn't he healthy all last season?

His lack of willingness to learn from the best of the game(oldtimers) makes me really worried about Bynum...He thinks he is good...His post moves are really not that great...he is just so tall/big...that its really not that noticeable...Bynum has so much that he can be doing for a guy that big...

At this point, every one is sick and tired of the "he said" "she said" rumors that have been swirling around for over a year now. We want a resolution.

I for one, would be ecstatic if Howard was traded here. But at this point, we've heard Houston was in the running for him for quite some time now. I've grown numb to the whole situation. I'll believe it when I see it.

    Yes.

He averaged 19, 12, and 2 with 23 PER as a 24 year old who didn't even have the offense running through him.
