The "Howard" ordeal will never match the "James" circus. He has come close to putting himself in Kobe territory -- fans who either love or dislike him, with no one in between -- an increasing number who root against him.

If, as a fan, you felt rebuffed by Bosh, you should already have the same sense about Howard. He wants a better stage than Houston can provide. (See previous championship snubbs.)

I hope the organization will fore-go fools gold; instead, mine for the real thing.

I hope we play the young guys or acquire a high level player who intends on extending his visit in houston. D12 is not the kind of guy we need....I guess we will always play third fiddle here in Htown rather than acquiring foundational pieces through the draft (please name one team that did not draft at least one of if not their best player, who then attracted other better players...hmmm, what do we have? Chandler Parsons?!?!?!. Can't wait for some fool to argue that Houston is a better team than the Spurs and Mavs over the last 10 years).

Dude, at least link to the article. Give the content author the opportunity to get some hits. Otherwise that's just blatant stealing of content.

I would argue that Bynum has Gasol and Kobe Bryant on his team....D12 has....Quentin Freaking Richardson and JJ Reddick. Lakers have more sources for points, and D12 free throws and outside of 3 feet post game is atrocious.

How much of that is because he was playing with the "Black Mamba"? If Bynum went off for 25 and they lost, the next game Kobe is taking some of Bynum's shots. Same problem for Gasol with Kobe. Kobe is going to get his Bynum and Gasol be damned!!!

bynum has more potential to be better and more complete. all his injuries we're freak accidents. not a lingering back problem. Dwight might miss a lot of games. adds up to him not really wanting to be in Houston. he will watch kids play. atleast bynum is ready to go. he was allstar starting center last year. plus we can start training early with bynum. get the team more acclimated. we could be the biggest threat to the young west champs.... OKC. we're younger and more complete as a whole. deeper.

looks like the clippers have gotten in the mix now. if they offer jordan and griffin, that'll be tough to beat.

If BYNUM could stay healthy, it would be great. But why trade away everything for injury prone BYNUM? For DWIGHT its justifiable, but not for BYNUM...If we do indeed go the 3way route, we better not give up ALL our assets like we would with Howard

Both stats are an improvement to what we typically get from a center on our team.

I wish people would quit saying this .. Howard has not even played since having BACK SURGERY .. There is risk with both.

I love how people don't want Bynum because he is injury prone, but instead they want D12 who just came off of back surgery...

What a joke. The Magic have talked to just about every team in the league, but they don't want to play hard ball.
