Not hate it is fact, that's why we traded for a more complete player in Dragic now it is just a matter of tanking.

I'd love to have him back, but I'd prefer Sessions as a starter.

Yes! I would love to have AB back, he was a stud offensively at the top of his game. I miss him and Kevin Martin making up a stacked backcourt. Hope they can both get to their 2009/2010 form. Gain a decent center, let Parsons develop, let Patterson develop, and we have a playoff contending team again. And I still haven't given up hope on a superstar like Dwight or Bynum.

AB down here in the RGV (Brownsville). Check out the video of AB at a baskeball camp: Local Tv video is on the right hand side of the web page.

I choose yes because he reminds me of my son who was just born when the Yao led rockets went to the 2nd round against the Lakers, then went out for good with injury. AB was tearing up the lakers, and I vividly recall watching the middle of the night rebroadcast while feeding my boy a bottle and trying to get him back to sleep.

I think even though he wasn't super vocal, he was the closest thing we had to a leader. I bet the time behind Steve Nash was beneficial too!

He was abysmal his entire last season here. I'll take him back if it means were getting Howard or something. Not sure what he accomplishes if we dont get Howard unless we are truly trying to tank.

I would much rather go after a young prospect like Bayless if were tanking/rebuilding.

That was a real bad year for him, in that the writing was on the wall about Morey wanting Lowry more then him and after he was injured they unceremoniously moved him from starter to bench player as quickly as possible.

I would love AB back, although, only if we had kept Courtney Lee as the starting SG and if Scola. I think Brooks and Martin are not great when paired together and without another option that can score, teams to remove Brooks from the game. That is what happened his last season here before being injured, we lost the first 5 games because Martin and Scola weren't scoring and Brooks was playing entire games on back to backs.

Brooks would be a great PG but without another piece, I would hope he wouldn't waste his time here.

I disagree. I think he was a nice player. he wants to be here according to J. Feigen yesterday on twitter "Aaron Brooks on potentially returning to Houston. "It’s a possibility. I haven’t had any conversations with anybody else."" If one guy can come to Houston and light it up, it's AB.

    Tanking is silly.

Making cash off kids that will never ball! Reports said he was in Houston but I thought it was to discuss a deal not to go to camp. Good for him. Thanks for finding this.

Assuming the cards fall the right way, is:

    Brooks
    Lee
    Parsons
    Scola
    Howard

    a championship lineup?

This is not a championship lineup. 2nd round playoffs at best. Where is the bench?

^ too hard to predict what it would take to land Howard in trade.

    Maybe:

    Brooks / Douglas
    Lee / Jrich
    Parsons / Morris
Scola / (too many to guess)
    Howard / Asik

I believe Rockets want Lin, or AB as starter. I think we'll get 1, or the other, but not both. I do want AB back, regardless his defense is worst than Lowry. With him playing in China, I want to see if he is more hungry and more driven than before.

AB would benefit from playing with Dwight. His lack of D wouldn't be completely paralyzing.

Since we're tanking, it doesn't really matter that much. But, I suppose when you have a stable-full of rookies and plan to lose a lot of games in the coming season, you want what veteran you do have to be level-headed locker-room guys who can teach the young guys how to be professional. Somebody who'll pass the ball to others might also be nice. Brooks was a good player for us, but he wasn't really that positive locker-room presence that we need now. So, I suppose I don't think he's the best choice -- or maybe he's the best of limited options.
