Serious question:

Ask Luhnow why games like tonight (06/28) are not moved to the daytime. I assume the club has the authority to do that (at least on a limited basis). Why are they playing a 7:05 PM CDT game with a 1:20 PM game in Chicago tomorrow? Since it is summertime with a non-marquee team as the opponent, the attendance difference should be negligible. Since there is a roof, afternoon heat does not come into play.

 

In regards to the Astros Class A - Advanced minor league affiliate:
With the Player Development Contract (PDC) with Lancaster expiring after this season, will the Astros FO sign another 2 year extension there or will they look for a team in the Carolina League or Florida State League?

Carolina League has one club with an expiring PDC:
-Wilmington Blue Rocks - Kansas City (signed through 2012)

Florida State League has 4 clubs with expiring PDC after the 2012 season:
-Brevard County Manatees - Milwaukee (signed through 2012)
-Charlotte Stone Crabs - Tampa Bay (signed through 2012)
-Daytona Cubs - Chicago (NL) (signed through 2012)
-Fort Myers Miracle - Minnesota (signed through 2012)

Hell, besides Lancaster there are 6 other Cali League clubs with expiring PDC's. We could at least get out of the wind tunnel that is Lancaster.

Ungrateful? What do I have to be grateful for? You started a thread in which you asked us to pose questions for Luhnow. I asked a joking one (Rice) and a serious one (scheduling). You haven't been too busy to post your usual types of posts in the D&D or start and participate in a 'food sharing' thread or post 100+ times in July. I am just curious as to the answers to the reasonable questions that were posted here.
