The 12 year olds always think that if a trade was not for Dwight, LBJ, or Durrant than it was a bad trade and that Morey needs to be fired. You know those players get traded all the time apparently just not to us. I guess I just don't read clutchfans those days and miss them all. Idiots will be Idiots I suppose.

Just an outstanding deal by Morey, although I'll miss Camby.

What's with NYK giving up their two second round picks? It just doesn't make sense. It's not like Morey had them in a corner and were forced to give them up. NYK totally undervalue their picks and just give them away like after dinner mints.

Overall, another brilliant Morey trade that we've come to expect. Knicks get our ageing big man while we get a solid PG and two valuable second round picks.

Eh, why? He was barely ours to begin with. Besides the full court shot, I don't really have any memories of him.

The fact that we got anything for Camby makes this a good deal.

Can't match when offer sheet isnt official yet. July 11th is the day FAs sign the offer sheet.

Trade is good, NY to pay Douglas's salary too, thats 5 mil in the next 2 years, Les is saving lots of money with this trade.

I am agreeing with those who have said that the last thing NYK wants is for Dwight to end up in Brooklyn. Thus, they are willing to help us by giving us more in assets in order to help prevent the Nets trade.

By this point, if Orlando accepts anything other than the Rockets' offer, he should be fired immediately. No one can touch our deal.

In a sane world, Morey wins every time. But there is never a way to fully predict and anticipate sheer stupidity, especially when it not only doesn't make sense, it is in fact directly opposite of what a sensible GM would do..

..which is of course why it would immediately call into question their GM's integrity, and be a huge red flag about some kind of back-door dealing, which SHOULD be a huge huge no-no, enough to rescind a trade too, I would think.

    Basketball reasons...

Are you kidding? Camby was a warrior, and will be missed. I only hope that we end up with Asik, who isn't Camby, but is a damn fine defensive center. If you haven't noticed, and obviously, you have not, good defensive centers are very rare in this league. At age 40, or however old Camby is, he was tremendous when he was on the court for the Rockets, and isn't a good defensive center, but a great one, and has offensive skills as well, even at his advanced age. Honestly, you might try watching more games, or being awake when you do. With all due respect.

i hope we develop Jordan. He already has skills around the rim, he just needs to improve rebounding

Maybe part of the deal was that we rescind our offer to Lin.
