Rockets trade Camby to Knicks for Douglas, Jordan, Harrelson, 2nd round picks

How long do you think they'll be teammates?

 

we weren't signing camby back anyway and we got harrelson and two picks, ill take it

 

For not taking any real salary back, this is a pretty good deal. I'm not a fan of Douglas, but as long as he doesn't shoot, he's worth having out there for his defense. At least he takes care of the ball. I think Jordan is an intriguing prospect on measurables alone, but 26 year old projects aren't anything to get excited about. Love the two unprotected 2nd rounders. We know what Morey can do with those.

All in all a good deal. I was hoping or a 1st rounder, but it's clear that wasn't going t o happen without taking back salary; and it's clear Morey is still chasing Dwight.

At least were getting something for him. who knows we might even end up getting a first rounder with those two second rounders.

 

Douglas is horrible..I would rather give a chance to Scott Machado.

Yes, Novak was a Morey pick(though CD was in charge)

The 2nd round pick could also be somebody like Newley, Leunen, Dorsey, or Taylor.

And we still have a lot of hope for Llull. (or Aldemir)

Agreed. Look for Morey to try and build up Martin's trade value and move him. I also expect him to take on a junk dead weight 2 year contract for draft picks near the deadline.
