    Has anyone surmised the cap impact? Did we help NYK or did we get help? Seems like we'd wait to see if they match Lin before we help them clear up the backloaded salary burden.

    A note on JJordan....

    I watched him play OSU in Stillwater, OSU had a very short team at the time. Jordan towered over everybody and he might as well have been 5'6" for all the impact he had on the game.

    He was lazy and whinny.

    I love this trade though.

    Since NY are sending cash to cover Douglas' salary. I'm guessing the second pick was so NY could dump him to Houston. They had another unguaranteed contract in Gadzuric which they could have used. Reportedly they want to add another PG, Prigioni, to their roster.

    "Beat writer Jonathan Feigen said Monday that the Rockets will keep Douglas, who will be an intriguing player. Douglas fell off the map in New York after losing all of his confidence, but it's not beyond the realm of possibility for him to get out of that funk once he leaves the dysfunctional confines of Madison Square Garden."

    "In return the Rockets will receive the Knicks' second round picks in 2014 and 2015, and the Knicks will pay Douglas' salary in Houston.

    I think this is a great deal. That's not a bad haul for a guy that could have left for nothing. Douglas replaces Lee for FREE! :grin:

    I think the picks might be the Knicks small way of trying to help Houston in the Howard fiasco .. I doubt they really want another mega team in the east and especially in the same town.
