Sounds like a good deal.... but before I start jumping up and down I would like to see what type of protection those 2nd round picks have.

Maybe because they play like an AAU team.

Happens all the time in baseball. Don't remember seeing it in the NBA.

It's not new, it's called cash considerations.

Carl Herrera faints...because he did not report it first, despite hitting refresh like 20 times per minute.

    Nice trade.

I love Harrelson's game. Douglas is dreadful. Jordan is tall.

But we got some picks, baby!!

It just means they sent enough cash in the deal to pay his salary... he'll be on the Rockets' books.

[rquoter]For two months after receiving the player in trade, if the trade aggregates the player's salary with the salaries of other players. However, the team is free to trade the player immediately, either by himself or without aggregating his salary with other salaries. This restriction applies only to teams over the salary cap. (Also see question number 85.)[/rquoter]

We are under the cap, correct?

Will he count toward the salary cap?

Douglas is a good pickup. Especially considering our PG situation. I like the tape on Jordan. Reminds me of Bynum on offense. Very raw but has a sense of offensive awareness. Also, picks!

So the cash considerations don't count toward eliminating his cap hit? Sorry, don't know much about this.
